Interface

The Orion eAPI interface requires Internet Explorer 7 or higher and is not compatible with other browsers, such as Firefox or Safari. Because the application is deployed via the customer’s Internet Explorer Web browser, the settings that customers have established within their browsers will impact their experience when using Orion.
If the customer environment is based on Microsoft Active Directory, then access to the system uses the LDAP protocol. Due to this feature the Orion system does not store the client password; rather it uses a directory authentication service and users will use the same username and password they already use to access the internal network (SSO – Single Sign-on).
